Most of my problems are caused by the nut connecting the saddle to the handlebars :D

Finally i can say that the Restoration is complete. Took it out for a shakedown and all in all, its not to shabby.
4 wheel alignment to address including camber...
A damm good spit and polish ready for All Types at Bodelwyddan Castle.
More shakedowns in the sun and then the National Meet.

This really does look great, and it's great to see after following it for so long. I much prefer the newly restored original look.

Out of interest, what shocks/springs are you using? And how high does the car sit? I've been fretting about mine since replacing the original set-up.

Hi.
Went for standard spec (Sach). Car now sits at 340mm at the rear & 350mm at the front. Still expecting it to settle a touch more. The standard ride height is 330 (Rear) & 345 (Front)

Excellent. Thank you, that's helpful. Mine is on Bilstein B4s with Suplex springs on the front and Meyle (I think) on the back. I think it's about the same height as yours. I've no idea whether these are decent springs or not - I found the world of aftermarket oem spec springs baffling.

I kept my original ones and just replaced my shocks. But I know what you mean.
