Go on then, since passing my test in 2001.

- 89 Fiesta 1.0 'Bonus' - which ended up a full XR2 replica minus the engine.
- 88 Fiesta 1.4S - with 4 spot lights!!
- 88 Fiesta Ghia - parts car for a sexy velour interior
- 89 Fiesta Xr2 - also turned into a parts car after the engine failed within 200m of me buying it!
- 88 Orion 1.6 Ghia - which was to donate it's engine to the Fiesta
- 89 Orion 1.6 Ghia
- 92 Fiesta 1.3 SX - turned into a RS Turbo replica
- 90 BMW 318i
- 90 BMW 318IS
- 87 BMW 325i - parts car
- 90 Golf GTI 8v - 5dr tornado red and my first mk2 - look what it started!!!
- 86 Golf GTI 16v - the earliest of D plates - ran to 199k on original clutch/head gasket an all! Engine then went into another mk2!!
- 85 Golf GTI 8v - bought for £126 with Tax an Test
- 84 Golf GTI 8v - parts car - bought off ebay with good panels/paint to upgrade the 86 16v with. Strange story ***
- 90 Golf GTI 16v - my custom royal blue 2.0 16v - I miss this more than any of the others.
- 88 Passat GT 2.0 16v estate
- 90 Golf GTI 8v - parts car
- 89 Golf driver - parts car
- 00 Saab 93 2.2 TID
- 89 Corrado G60 - The Nugget
- 00 Citreon Xsara VTR -- it was a FREE car, and it's off to the scrappy. I will never BUY a French car as a result.
- ???

If it wasn't for the mk2 being so reliable I'd have probably had loads more cars by now!

Next daily (which may arrive in a few days) is going to be GOLF shaped, but the question is will it have a VR6 or 20VT inside.
Next project - SYNCRO

*** strange story , I went to collect the Golf and I was directed to a small barn around the back of a warehouse selling boats. I walked into the barn to find that inside was full of Wallace and Grommit models, molds and set pieces plus the fully operational Austin A33 van which a Plasticine model was made for what turned out to be for the new W&G film!!! The Golf was owned by a chap who worked for Ardam productions and his barn is used to store loads of W&G production equipment whilst they aren't filming.

I spent AGES there talking about animation and stop & go filming as I was part of a local arts group who did similar short films before jumping into this Golf and driving home - for a bargain price of £106!!!

^ GOOD LIST, some unusual motors in there especially the Starion and a Xr4x4 TT conversion - there were never many of those!

I've had a chance to drive various Saphire Cosworths from standard RWD to modified RWD and 4x4. One Saphire was owned by a chpa who contributed to Fast Ford magazine and his ran a Graham Goode 360+ swap - ffing mental the way the power slowly built then just exploded and shot you down the road snaking the back end :-)
