Tyres

Postby CrazyHorse » Sun Dec 01, 2019 11:02 pm

I'm on original 185/60 14's and need some new ones. I currently has Pirelli P6000s which a garbage.

I've read quite a few posts this evening but all the best recommendations (Toyo TR1, Falken 914...) are for 15" wheels.. all the 14" ones seem noddy. Any recommendations?

Thanks.

I just chucked the size into Google and came back with results on BlackCircles.com
Plenty of options for decent branded tyres in that size including Toyo and Falken

https://www.blackcircles.com/order/tyre ... =60&rim=14

Toyos aren't that grippy and a lot of people complain about their wet weather capabilities - I've had them on my old golf and BMW e30 and was happy with them, they would slide but I knew at the point they would let go and drove accordingly, nothing wrong with drifting a FWD hatchback round a roundabout

I've got uniroyal rain tyres on. Second time I've had them and they work for me.
