Monza Blue 16v with BBS...

Postby bacardincoke » Mon Jan 27, 2020 11:15 am

MK2's for sale in N. Ireland aren't that regular an occurrence, however this one's just popped up in Fermanagh and from what I can tell has so far only been listed on a Republic of Ireland site (which covers Ireland, both North and South) called Donedeal.ie

The sellers nothing to do with me and make your own mind up as to their description of the car.

If you're big into 80's styling might just be what you're after!

much the same as any GTI then, especially big bumper.

It's a good price for a 16v with some 'high value' extras. If you were to knock them down to £2500, but expect a £4k resto I think you'd be on track. But at £2500 you'd potentially make a profit even as a parts car if it turned out to be a total loss.

I can see some rust showing at the top edge of the sill on the pic with the door open, usual stuff around the rear light. It's going to need work but I think that's reflected in what I would say is a fair(ish) price for a kind of special car.

Either a sudden change of heart or someone was quick on the draw...

It's popped up for sale again... seems to be the original seller re-advertising.

Might be more piccies this time, I'm not sure.

Makes for an interesting read alright, quite a few recurring issues over it's life.
