General Chat / Static display @ the NM provided by VW
We requested to see if we could get a static display of GTI’s from Mk1 upwards to display at the National Meet.

I have today had it confirmed today that we will have:  these cars are concourse -

MkI Golf GTI
MkII Golf GTI
MkIII Golf GTI
MKIV Golf GTI
MkV Golf GTI
MkVI Golf GTI
MkVII Golf GTI
MkVIII Golf GTI – this is the current / outgoing version of the car, not the soon to be updated version as that won’t have launched.

General Chat / Club shop email
Just a quick note - if you received an email about processing orders from the Club shop; please note the date - these are old orders no monies have been taken. Just doing a bit of maintenance- it was necessary.

General Chat / National Meet tickets go live tomorrow 1/2/24
Tickets for the NM will go live from 8pm from Club Shop 1st February.

If you’re a paid member then there will be a discount in the paid members section - apologies but I can only apply to admission as the tickets cover track cost.

General Chat / Can you help at the National Meet?
Looking for volunteers to help marshal the track on the Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st July at Curborough Sprint Course.

12 people per day, there’s the AM (9-1) & PM slot (1.30-5).

There are 3 areas of the track that require cover.

Would anyone like too? If you could put your name and preferred day and slot. 

It’s not much but we will give you a free lunch voucher for the on site cafe .

Shows & Events / Bristol Volksfest 8-9 June
Looking at arranging a Club stand for either Saturday or Sunday.  One thing I did notice Saturday tickets are £20 and Sunday £10.

If your interested please comment and let me know your preference of day.

General Chat / Apologies to members
I am severely behind with members packs that it’s now daunting.  I will not rip anyone off and will get there and you will not loose any time, it will start from when I do it.

I aim to sit down over the weekend and get these done to date.  The main problem I’m finding is the PayPal paperwork doesn’t have addresses on to send to them I need to email you and wait for a response; also email addresses supplied through PayPal are not always registered on the site.
