We had an amazing turnout of cars on the Show & Shine.  The winners where -

Shows & Events / National Club Meet 17-19 July 2026
Happy new year to all VW Golf MK2 Owners Club members.

Ok, so it’s our pleasure to announce the date of this years annual meet - July 17-19th 2026, which coincides with the 50th anniversary of the GTI.

Please join us in the celebrations at Curborough Sprint Course tickets will go on sale end of January. 

2 days of track action, onsite camping and loads of Mk2 Golfs.

Traders on site.  If you are a trader/company and wish to be present, please contact us.

General Chat / National Meet- photos
Well, another gone in a flash.

In typical style, it rained Saturday & Sunday morning- cleared up in the afternoons. 

The track action was amazing and ran like clockwork.

Friday & Saturday camping is just the best, campfires, friends, drinking, late nights.

I will add the photos & videos this evening.

Thank you all for supporting the Club.

Next year is the 50th anniversary of the GTI let’s celebrate in style :)

On the Sunday of the National Meet, alongside the track activities we will again run the Show & Shine.

Entry form can be found here

Judging starts at 12-2pm and results announced at 3pm.

As normal I’m behind with this; to be honest I get overwhelmed.

But I’m trailing a new way to be delivered quicker.  I will be emailing your members card to you.  These will be sent to the email address that is on the paypal.

Shows & Events / Ultimate Dubs 25
Ok, so I will be applying for an outdoor Club stand next month.  9 March @ Telford International Centre.

Are there any members interested in going on the stand.  Tickets need to be purchased beforehand.  And I need a picture of your Mk2 along with registration.
