Title: Brake Compensator valve
Post by: DasAuto19 on March 25, 2023, 09:05:48 AM
Hi everyone. I’m struggling to find a replacement brake compensator valve for my 1986 Gti Mk2. If anyone has any suggestions to help me find one or on how to repair the one I have it would be much appreciated. Thanks…

Have you tried autodoc?
I got one from there a year ago, no problem.

When it comes to Autodoc, it really depends on what parts you're buying. For brakes, I'd look at ATE, Brembo or TRW. For filters, MANN-FILTER, Mahle or Bosch are worth considering. For suspension parts, Lemförder and Meyle are generally good options.
Bosch, SKF and INA are also worth keeping in mind, depending on the part.
I'd say it's better to choose a manufacturer with a good reputation for the specific type of part rather than assume one brand makes everything equally well. And always double-check the part number and compatibility with your car before ordering.
