I’m looking to change the coilovers I inherited, to standard suspension on my 1991 1.6 Golf Driver.
Which make/brand would be the nearest to stock?

I prefer the Bilstein b4 shocks, close to stock, but less wallowy ride. You can get stock springs from most suppliers, there's not much difference between brands in terms of ride.
