Hi - I am after a decent unrotten Golf mk2 type 19 shell if you have one - ideally white but must have sunroof. Can you help?

Bit of a late one, but if you're still looking, it's worth checking Facebook groups like Mk2 Golf Owners/Mk2 Golf Parts & Cars Wanted, as shells with sunroofs pop up there now and then. Also keep an eye on eBay and Car & Classic, and consider widening your search to Jettas or 5-door cars if a solid 3-door doesn't turn up. A good shell is worth paying a bit extra for, but check the usual rot spots before you commit: the arches, sills, scuttle/windscreen base, and especially around the sunroof itself, where drains block and the roof rots from the inside.
