Just thought I would introduce myself, I'm Paul a Mk2 owner from North Wales thought I would share my baby with you all. Had a lot of work done over the years and currently running a 2.3L 20v VR5 sounds amazing and goes pretty well too.

hi and welcome.

looks great.

The v5 isn't a very common conversion. I gather it's not as straight forward as some of the alternatives. But for those that have done it they seem to love it.

Pop up some more info in the members rides section, would love to know more.

HELLO and welcome, i had a V5 powered mk1 tin top, the engine did grunt some, and wiped out a fair few tyres, before i smashed it head first into a skoda fabia...  had the intake powder coated in white.  I dont think such a big lump in mk1 was right for general driving, but reckon suits engine bay and in bigger mk2 i bet is a great match.
