Sorry for late reply, it not in bad nick, some parts have been removed but all the body panels , engine & gearbox is there, I have a V5 for it, Phil

The car has been partially stripped but the basics are all there and what is not is available elsewhere. the steering lock is damaged as is the tailgate lock. The dashboard and clocks were missing but I have sourced the correct ones and they will be with the car, headlining is missing but I have one that could be restored and the material is available. the engine and gearbox are present and the numbers match the V5. I have the V5 in my name and its currently SORN. Delivery can be arranged at your expence, would make an ideal full retto project.
My plan was to install the running gear from an S3 I also have but i need to concentrate on my 16v rebuild, and also the S3 is too good to strip:

Fine, the grill and wing mirrors have been removed since the photo was taken as well.
The S3 looks tidy. What is it like rust-wise? Just had a look at the MOT history and couldnt see anything scary!
Is that Helios Blue? If it is and the chap above doesn't fancy it I'd be interested if in rust free (or as close as poss!) the wings, tailgate, bonnet, GTI grille and glovebox... possibly the front seats as well but need to research if I can strip them and apply fabric etc to my 3 door versions.

Without sounding like a horrible vulture.... ok maybe i am little... did this car get sold... those parts are potentially too tempting!
I still have the blue golf, the running gear and interior is in place, I have the V5 in my name and all the numbers match, i have sourced another dash and speedo which will be in the car, some bit of trim both internal & external have been removed so if anyone is interested in the remains its for sale.

Hi I am looking for the rubber o ring that secures the air box lower portion to the car body also one door lock button guide that fits on top of the door card. I also need a couple of dash board trim screws drivers side lower shelf where it joins the center console and where it joins the door frame. Thanks scs

whats the condition of the gutters like?
Is the engine running? If so how much for the engine and all the running gear?

Hi I have never seen it running but its turns and i believe it to be good, probably best to make an offer for the complete car, i have taken off some of the aux engine parts as I was intending to sell them separately. Phil 07887714470
