Speedo Drive November 22, 2021, 06:33:39 AM Hi AllI have refitted my instrument panel and speedo drive cable, when i turn the red nylon gear at the gearbox end the needle moves, there is no obvious damage to the drive and it feels like its fitting into the box OK but is there a trick to locating it, i cant see where it sits because of the gearbox oil, the speedo is not working BTW. Re: Speedo Drive Reply #3 – November 26, 2021, 07:02:36 PM Yeah, that's right.It sounds very much like the red gear hasn't meshed correctly, but just to be sure, have you tried it with the other end out the speedo to see if the square drive works?
