July 02, 2021, 11:09:10 AM Was mooching around the local Gumtree in search of an engine stand and this caught my eye.So very, very tempted... nearly bought one about 4 - 5 years ago when I'd an itch for a working classic before eventually getting the 205 a while later.This is the 90, made in Finland for a short while as a stop gap between the 99 and 900, hence the front end of the former with the rear of the latter. Very scarce car both then and now.I've had a few later Saabs in my time and love the marque.The one I was previously considering was also in N. Ireland, but a bronze colour. At the time when I was looking into the model a bit more I found a thread on one of Saab enthusiasts sites about the same one being sold now - seemed to be owned by their version of our Damien.wrl so I'm guessing it's everything the advert / description claims.205 or Saab... sooooo tempted!Gumtree 1 Likes
Re: Soooooo tempted! Reply #1 – July 02, 2021, 12:47:50 PM Awesome, always loved a SAAB. Never had one but been so close so many times. Even nearly went for a modern one before I got the Audi A3, perhaps I should have as the A3 was awful. But then I probably wouldn't have the Mk5 now.
