Re: Another project I don't need. Power modssss

Been a while since updating this thread so let's do an update. I've removed all the wiring for the AGU management and all the related sensors and installed all the new style sensors. Wideband lambda, knock sensors, and added the intake pressure sensor into the intercooler piping (Welded by AIP weldi...

Re: Another project I don't need. Power modssss

Yeah I just can't picture in my head how all the exhausts are bent and one inlet. Not even any marks on the pistons for the inlet valves apart from that one. So no contact at all for the rest of them.

Thanks try and save money where I can. What were the other things you mention?

Re: Another project I don't need. Cooling upgrades

Been doing a few little bits preparing for the ME7.5 ecu swap. In order to swap it over I need to add a flange in the intercooler piping for the pressor sensor, swap over to the later style injectors, make a mount for the Drive by wire throttle pedal, swap the throttle body and all the later sensors...

Re: Another project I don't need. Cooling upgrades

Another track day down with no issues. Took it to castle combe. Great track but expensive tbh, compared to others. https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1939/31895895208_b02191596f_c.jpg Do have some videos but havent had time to go through them. Plus they are boring really. Might try and post one at most....

Re: Another project I don't need. Cooling upgrades

I'm sure with a shroud they would be ok. That was my origonal plan. But literally the oem fans come on for ten seconds and it's cool enough to turn off.

Re: Another project I don't need. Cooling upgrades

They move so much more air than the slimline fans. I was looking at mishimoto high flow fans but I'm pretty sure they wouldn't have fit and 1 was expensive as the corrado ones. The slimline ones would probably be ok with a shroud, but not as good by far

Re: Another project I don't need. Cooling upgrades

Long needed update. tldr - Basically redid the entire cooling system and gonna try and take it out again next month I went to drain the oil and remove the sump to check for any grit that got through the engine before I cleaned out the inlet manifold. No sign of anything in the oil or in the sump onc...

Not sure but i'm pretty sure that quite a few new cars and some older cars have them fitted as standard but just drain back into the sump and vent it back into the intake like mine is. Might be an issue with venting to atmosphere but don't know.
