Swapped out the mk2 fuel tank for a mk3 vr6 tank. Currently in the process of stripping out the old engine.

Hello mate been following you on edition but as you know the forum has gone
I'm collecting parts for my mk2 pd conversion i also have the mk3 diesel fuel tank my question is when i put it in the mk3 fuel tank it doesn't sit snug where it comes through the fuel filler is that supposed to be like that? Sorry for hijaking your thread

Nas

Hi dude,

Yeah gutted Edition has gone - the forum was pretty quiet but was great to look back over old build threads on.

Yeah the filler neck sits slightly lower in the filler flap than the Mk2 one did for me but with the rubber surround fitted it looks ok - found it an absolute pain in the backside to fit it in my own but got there in the end.

Cheers
Jim

Waiting on some refurbished g60 callipers to arrive and the ECU to come back from Dubforce.

Looks banging for a first bash at spraying, and now there's a fresh scuttle trim sat in there, can't be far off now

Thanks bud - it’s really getting there now! Been a long old process with a lot of G60 parts hard to find at the right price!

The brakes and hubs have arrived! Brakes look fantastic but the hubs need new bearings and a strip down and paint! Should keep me busy while I wait on the ecu

Tidied up some wiring and have decided to delete the boost return. OCD boost return blank is on, waiting for a filter to arrive for the ISV from demon tweets.

Should I run a catch can or just vent the oil to atmosphere?
