Mk3 top mounts are the way forward. So simple and no silly nuts holding them on

Just received my MK3 spring top plate, from B&B However just compared the diameter of the top mounts and the ones I've received are smaller and certainly not a snug fit on the top of the spring....any thoughts?

I might be confused but the left one is for on top of the spring the right plate is a mk3 top plate inside the engine bay.

You could re use the old ones if they fit better, a think the bearings and mounts will still fit

Edited my post above, yes I meant spring top plate. I could use the Mk2 one but as you can see the Mk3 bearing fits properly on the Mk3 spring top. Anyone know the correct product code?

Found a post on clubgti. Appears you use the GTI / VR6 top mounts

Top Mount thread:

There's a bit of a price difference compared to the bog standard ones, I note VW Heritage are quite reasonable @ just over £6.00, however most others are nearer £20+ each! Have tried GSF & ECP - no joy, anyone know where you can get them at a more reasonable price ??
