Postby mk2rich3.2 » Tue Apr 09, 2019 6:03 pm

in the middle of trying to get the car to run, have the fuel pump working and the engine cranks over fine, cant seemed to keep any spark or to get the injectors to pulse. we checked and replaced the cranks shaft sensor still the same issue, checked to make sure the crank shaft sensor plug was working right and came across 1 earth being the black wire checked seemed to be correct to the diagram and the white and brown wire were both holding 2.5 volts is this normal or is there something not right with ecu/loom i have cheers

I’d love to help but have no idea?
I’d have a guess at loom/Ecu Though

Hope you get it sorted.

Do you have power to injectors and plugs ?
First thing to check

Next check your loom is all connected and plugged up etc

Check fuses and relays are correct for your conversion

Yea I have power at coil plugs and injectors just get no spark no nor do the injector open to allow fuel in, I do have a code that comes up on the diagnostics which is to do with the ecm power relay control circuit low been told that this shouldn’t stop the engine from running that

The ecm power relay will definitely stop the ecu from starting the engine.
I had that same issue once in a 20v and it turned out to be a fuse gone.

yea did think it could be causing an issues but dont have any fuses gone double checked it so many times been told to make the relay external to the fusebox and take the 3 power from g1/04 g1/08 g2/04 and put the in the 87 of an ignition controlled relay with 30amp fuses on each think this would could help solve the issues cheers for help

Have you wired it yourself?
If so, did you follow rubjonnys guide?
