Title: headlining replacement
Post by: 68drt on January 11, 2022, 01:07:02 AM
HI, I have a 85 GTI 3 door which needs a new headlining and was wondering if anyone has used a replacement fibreglass one that is already covered with fabric. My car is totally original and i dont want to fit inferior parts so wanted a heads up on the products sold by Myrtle as i cannot find any other options. Thanks in advance.

I can certainly recommend the Headliner-World headliners off of ebay.
I fitted one to my restoration:

The fit is excellent, all the holes lined up exactly as the old one, as well as the A/B/C pillars.

Though the material isn't the same, you can buy the headliners bare and then buy the material from Heritage, then cover yourself or get someone else to.
