Hiya!

Thanks for having me. I drive a Golf Mk2 -89 with the 1.8l RP engine.
Needs a new thermostat right now, but it runs well.

Hello and welcome.

When you do the stat replace the housing, it’s plastic and they warp so single use item.
It also worth replacing the water pump. Every time I’ve done a stat the water pump bolts sheered and it’s not worth the effort for the £30 it costs
