Title: New Members Say Hi
Post by: Podge on May 09, 2022, 11:14:28 AM
Hello to everyone.
I have joined today for a selfish reason, namely I am in need of an engine block for my Mk 2 8 valve  G Ti with an e v engine code NOT a p b..
My garage suggests this place would be useful in my search for one.
I feel I will stick around as from the things I have read it does seem to be a great site.
Cheers for now.

Hi and welcome. Going back a few years people couldn't give away their standard engines when they did a swap. Now originality is winning though and prices are on the up.

If you're not too bothered about originality and it's only the block you want you should be OK with a PB bottom end on your k-jet head, or if it were me I'd be looking for a mk2 2.0 8v bottom end. 2E I believe would be the correct engine code.

Can I ask what your situation is and why you need it?
