Title: It All Comes Down to Detail!
Post by: Martin109 on July 10, 2022, 09:52:05 PM
I have had a faded red (pink) Driver ever since I owned it, except for a couple of times when I used some red T-cut apparently to good effect, but it all went faded again very quickly:

So I tracked down a detailer in Bristol (Mike Withers of Touch Detailing), and he's done a lovely job:

Finished! (http://www.martinsawers.co.uk/links/Detailing4.jpg)

Lucky with the weather this week, as all done on his driveway!

I seem to have lost my towing eye cover (not due to the detailing work, though)

(Must try to work out how to show images directly in the post, but img.../img doesn't seem to work)

Did you ask recently on Facebook for recommendations for DA polishers and pads?
The finished result looks great, it is worth asking your detailer for advice on how to maintain it. You will probably end up with wash mitts, rinse and wash buckets, grit guards etc.

Thanks, PW.

No, it wasn't me asking about polishers and pads.  The retailer is going to send me info on maintenance and materials etc.

That's some transformation and all original paint, see I told you it would come up good!  8)
