The thin one that goes from the top of the rad back to the expansion bottle. Mine's still the original hose and feels a little weak in places, probably well overdue being replaced, it's also a little scruffy and would be nice to tidy up so.
I know the braided with pink fleck is NLA and I'm not bothered by that, but I'm sure someone had some with a red fleck which was quite nice but I'd be happy with all black, but I'd rather the braided look than just rubber.
So questions...
1. has anyone got a link to the right kind of stuff?
2. has anyone ever tried to run a hard line along the slam panel and up the side of the inner wing rather than go diagonally across the bay?
I used fuel hose from the local Bullseye car spares store. Has done the biz for many years.
I have some braided red fleck but did not use it on the car. It is steel braided under the cloth so it gave quite a long bend at the radiator. I still have it in the attic if you would like to see how it bends.
In the end I repaired my original pink fleck with shrink tubing. it appears fine.
