Title: Green Indicator light stopped working.
Post by: lynchy on August 13, 2022, 04:31:12 PM
Hi all,

The green indicator light that flashes on the instrument cluster suddenly has stopped working. Does anyone have any tips on how i could get it fixed? Everything else is working normally so i don't think it is a fuse.

Thanks

If you put up some pics and price and location and put in the cars for sale section you will get better coverage.

in a library thread, i have linked a guide and a utube vid,
about dismantling the unit (https://www.vwgolfmk2.co.uk/clubforum/index.php?topic=1583), but maybe you could check
the electronics before you have put it that far apart.

if you have it apart, you a least could also put additional leds.
i had some thought about a trailer indicator light below the other
(vw would apparently put it next to the handbrake light (https://www.vwgolfmk2.co.uk/clubforum/index.php?topic=1318)).
