Title: Aftermarket manifold
Post by: Mark F on September 21, 2022, 02:36:59 PM
Hi,

Looking at fitting a free flow manifold to my 1988 GTI 16v but keeping the rest of the exhaust original. Anyone have any advice on which ones to buy and will it affect the performance?
I bought a cheap one a few years ago on Ebay but it didn't fit so now being a bit cautious ::)

HI. I have one you can have for nothing if you want to try it. Its been used and has been blasted and repainted. Bought it a couple of years ago second hand from an enthusiast with 3 Golfs, but never used it. I live in Chichester if any good.

Hi
Thanks for the offer but will be looking for a new stainless one and I only want to fit it once. I’ve seen one from a company called gravity which looks good value might try that unless anyone has had any bad experience with them

I've had good experiences with both Scorpion and Miltek 4 branches in the past.
Was a very long time ago though!
