I'm in the U.S. , just outside Washington DC, and my favorite car ever was my bought-new 1978 Rabbit/Golf mk1.
I have the opportunity to get an '88 Golf mk2 that's been sitting in a carport for over a decade.
The first thing i saw here was the string of pictures following the restoration of the garden-abandoned one and it's inspiring.
We transfer ownership Monday...
