When I park I reverse up to my front door, which always gets me the the opportunity to see the reflection of my rear lights in the door glass. I've noticed sometimes my reverse lights are on, sometimes they're not.
I find this odd. It's clearly not the bulbs and I assume it's not the light cluster as it's both. So I'm thinking it's the switch, wiring, or something else. Are there any known/common issues here?
I first noticed it the day after my MOT, but thankfully it must have worked for the MOT, or they didn't care. It worked after, it works the majority of the time.
Any thoughts?
If its intermittent I would think it would be the switch or a loose connection. Does it make any difference depending how hard you select reverse?.
