Title: Electrical swap probleme (EZ 84 to KR 91 l CE2 to CE conversion)
Post by: Caribou on January 29, 2024, 08:47:10 AM
Hello everyone,
I'm looking for help to complete my swap as I'm having electrical and electronic problems with my engine harness.

Let me explain:

My engine is normally a 1.6 EZ carb.

The swap engine is from a 91 Corrado 16v, so with a CE2 harness, my car has a CE1 harness, so I tried the conversion.

- I connected the CE2 wires (F/G1/G2) to the CE1 D connector.
- I shunted the pump relay to the rear of my car with the control (y/r) on the ECU output.

Here are my problems:

At +15 the pumps don't prime and at +50 the pumps don't work. However, when I shunt the pumps to the permanent +15, they work perfectly and the engine starts, but it has difficulty getting up to rpm (like a big lag on the ignition).

Do you have a wiring diagram or any idea on how to check my connections so that my engine runs normally?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,
I'm not 100% sure on what is happening, but have you heard of A2 Resource?
Excellent site...

Hopefully, that should take you though what you need to know.
