Hi, I am doing a r32 engine conversion on my mk2 golf van.
Is it worth doing a power steering conversion also with a bigger engine ?
Any thoughts ppl
Power steering is good at low speeds but not noticeable once you are moving. That's my experience.
Totally agree with SCS.
That being said, I do a far bit of low speed manoeuvring, and I like an easy life.
Besides, with the 3.2 conversion, it'll be hassle to remove the pump and then find an idler wheel to replace it.
You can just buy a second hand rack and Corrado pipe work, then put it all in.
