Title: Fuel pump and regulator leaking
Post by: GTI BRU on July 03, 2020, 02:34:49 PM
Hi guys, any help on this would be much appreciated.

I've had an MOT fail as the housing around the fuel pump and fuel regulator is shot to pieces, as well as the O-ring of the fuel pump. So fuel has been leaking, causing further corrosion.
I need to source a fuel pump (with an electrical pump) and a fuel regulator. Any ideas welcome as how to fix this or where to get the parts.
Please bear in mind that this has a MK3 16v engine in (although I don’t think this should make a difference).

Thanks

I'm not 100% sure but if you have the 2.0 ABF engine then you should be able to do away with the under car fuel pump and fit a complete Mk3 Fuel tank with internal pump.... I'm sure someone more knowledgeable will be along soon to confirm or dismiss.
