Title: "gifted" Immobiliser ...
Post by: Scherni on January 06, 2021, 09:32:46 PM
Hi all again,

So I have been given an old immobiliser that was in my father in law's old Mazda MX-5.

It is a cobra 0802t HOWEVER he didn't think to label the cables when cutting them out of the wiring in his  :o

Is this usable... Is there anyway I can make this work and know which cables are which because I don't really want to fork out for a new one if this is possible.

Tell me straight haha

Found this as well, thanks though!

f I can work out what all the cables are in relation to that then I'll be happy... But I wouldn't even know where to start haha

I have same issue with a Clifford alarm / immobiliser.

i have no idea whether i want to commit to trying to work out how to fit the wiring..

i also have the clifford alarm that he used - it says XL-10 but the wiring diagram for the XL-1000 is excatly the same.. all it needs a horn though, it has piezo sensor, glass sensor etc - and my gti must have had an alarm at some point because there are already bonnet pins installed
