Mk2 Golf Chat / Heating issues
Hi all, I’ve recently got my baby back on the road but struggle to drive in this weather because I keep fogging up because the heater doesn’t work

It’s a relatively new heater core 3-4years old and maybe 3000 miles so I doubt that’s the issue, no leaks and no air bubbles in the coolant.

I’ve shown here in red and blue what’s pipes are hot and cold, the bypass valves are the cutoff for where the heat stop, could this be the issue and I need to go back to straight pipes or new bypass valves

Hi all.

I’m joining now as I’m getting close to getting my mk2 on the road.

She’s been garaged for a year after an engine swap to a PB Weber carb swap.
I’m sure I’ll be asking for advice a lot so thought I’d pop my head in first
