Hi there. I have just joined. I have a Golf GTI 16 valve Mark 2 4 door. It belonged to my dad and needs work. Gave it to a mechanic who said they would be able to "fix" it for me but hopeless. Apparently the car starts but then cuts out. I need a Golf Specialist to review the car and get it to run. The car is low mileage as dad hardly used it, he just enjoyed polishing it! Once the car is running, I would love to sort out the bodywork. The car is located in a garage in North London so it would be good if the specialist was based here. The end result would be to sell it after having enjoyed it a little. I would love to bring it back to its glory, Can someone help? Thank you Rosa
