General Chat / Re: Bluetooth cassette adapter...
If you want to hide the technology in the car, you could use a Parrot hands free kit.
It interrupts the ISO power and speaker connections and takes over.
That gives you Bluetooth, phone charging and USB etc in, while leaving your dash standard (unless you want to fit the screen.

They look really good.

I totally feel your pain on the lack of space at the front of the car.
Ran into the exact same issues when I wired up my VDO gauges, though I as sorely tempted by the Digifiz ones.
How do they perform, do they react quick enough?

New Members Say Hi! / Re: Hello all
Welcome!
The weber is a great improvement over the standard item.
I was always having carb issues, fitted the weber, problems went away and the car was a little faster too!

Hi!

Great start you've made on the project.

However, I HIGHLY recommend you remove the photos of your VIN plates.
That, and the photo with your number plate will give scammers everything they need to clone your car! :o

Engine & Gearbox / Re: Random misfire
No worries.
Before you go attacking anything, I'd recommend you take a plug out the car (or use a spare, if you have one) and test each lead out of the engine.  That way you can get a good idea of how hard the plug leads are holding on.

Usually the connectors for the spark plugs look like this.

They can sometimes open out and stop contacting the plugs properly.

Sometimes all it takes is squeezing them (carefully) with a pair of pliers.
