Hey all,

i brought the stainless steel 4-1 manifold, the one from ebay. How ever unlike the standard one, it doesn't have the little bit of heat shield on it, assuming to reduce the heat source under the main wiring loom across the top of the bulkhead

Now do i ignore it, fit the manifold and forget about it ?

or is worth wrapping the manifold down to heat shield would of been, and when stationary the heat just raises upto the loom any way. now perhaps slightly hotter due the nature of a wrap.

or wrap the loom as someone else suggested, so heat doesn't transfer in to it

hoping some one else has thought about this and can offer advice,

Hello,
Im in need of mk2 GTi, 3 door, outer door trims (The thinner ones). The ones on my car have been stolen and the car looks terrible without them. Im really struggling to find any for sale and cant seem to find any company's that i could get to produce them. Any guidance to put me in the right direction would be massively appreciated.

So as promised I'm back with an update,
I can confirm that part number 027253033AT is a drop in replacement for 027253033AB. The replacement manifold is in with no issues so far.

Installation was easy enough just like the removal of the old one. I took the manifold and downpipe out as one, there was a little bit of jiggling needed but it wasn't too much hassle. Fitting the replacement, also with the downpipe attached, was just as easy.

Hello all, I have an original G60 leather steering wheel for sale. She is original black leather. There is a small hole at top of wheel. I would post pics but don't know how (pic doesn't have URL its on my computer). I am selling her as I now have replacement G60 wheel. This is for someone to recover themselves which could work out cheaper than buying one on line. I am looking for £70.00 which I think is reasonable when you consider you are paying £300 for a recovered one.

Really enjoying going through this thread—brings back memories of tuning my Mk2 years ago. The attention to detail here is awesome! On a side note, while searching for a good projector setup for the garage (planning to run some old Top Gear clips while working), I stumbled upon the XuanPad Website. Great range of affordable projectors that actually perform well in small spaces. Thought some of you might find it handy too!
