Insurance quote December 12, 2020, 06:10:32 PM I’m going to be looking for a quote after Christmas Is it going to be an issue if I have this car on a limited mileage as this is my only car ? Thanks Tom
Re: Insurance quote Reply #2 – January 04, 2021, 12:47:58 PM I'm with Lancaster, have 7000 (might even be 7500) miles on my classic policy. Last Edit: January 04, 2021, 01:57:26 PM by Eddypeck
Re: Insurance quote Reply #3 – January 05, 2021, 10:44:55 AM I've found those I've got quotes from require the Golf to be a second vehicle if it's to qualify for classic insurance and that the policy is always mileage limited (to different degrees, but none would be what you'd consider to normal annual amounts).

Last year I did 350 miles !
Re: Insurance quote Reply #5 – January 11, 2021, 02:46:18 PM My mk2 is my only car. The mk5 is 'technically' my wifes and I have a motorbike as my main transport. I've had no issue having the mk2 on a classic policy as my first (only) car with a decent milage allowance, although like most people in 2020 I did very few miles
