It's an ecu that was designed to control the ignition to allow older injection (k-Jet) to run modern, unleaded fuels without pinking.
Apparently it was good for about 10bhp when set up correctly.
But since it's inception, you can get vpower etc, so it's not as needed as once thought.
Trick is finding someone who can tune it. Only person I've heard of is Vince at Stealth.
