Quick update

Tax has register online this morning between midnight and 3am but the mot status is still expired, was hoping for the "no results found" green mot box.

More waiting to see when it changes or if it does.

Early mk2s are starting to become mot exempt and for a very lucky few tax exempt.

Mine mk2 is mot exempt as of January but the online system wouldnt let me declare it, just kept telling me no mot certificate found so couldnt tax it.

Loads of Internet reading giving all different thing to do, which wasnt helpfull.

So I printed the V112 form off filled it in and went to a post office on a sunday. Took my v5, the V112, insurance and the.last mot certificate which had just lapsed. The last 2 were just in case.

The lady there just scanned the bar code on the v5 and said thats £230 for 12 months. Never really looked anything else. So simple in the end, now waiting on the online system to catch up should take a few days.

Hopefully it's all done now, but I will update once its all online and official.

Hope this will help some ppl in the near future.

Mk2 Parts for Sale & Breaking / Windscreen close to stoke Wanted
Hi, I've managed to crack my windscreen and need a replacement before it's mot.

Would like to find one local ish to me in stoke. Seems like no one is breaking one local to me.

If anyone has one and local ish let me know how much.

Other Problems / Wiper spindle thread size
Hi, I've un seized my wiper spindles and managed to damage the small thread whichclamps the wiper arms on. Does anyone know the size of the thread?
