Mk2 Golf/Jetta Sales / VW Volkswagen 1984 Golf Mk2 TYP19 Project For Sale
Unfortunately the time has come to concede defeat on my Mk2 project. Total lack of time has led to minimal progress over the past few months.

The car is a very early (May 1984) Golf Mk2 CL in marine blue (LA5B).

I've personally owned the car since December 2018.

Currently stripped to bare shell, however comes will all original panels and glass.

A very solid shell, none of the usual Mk2 corrosion (typically found around windscreen, a-pillars, rear turrets and arches).

Interior pieces and some running gear available (no longer have original engine and gearbox unfortunately).

Inspection welcome and can provide further pictures to interested parties.

Log book present in my name.

A great opportunity to restore a highly sort after, first year Mk2 Golf.

Located North Leeds (can also arrange delivery at additional cost if required).

  • Genuine Hella GTI Grille 7 Slat Quad Lamp # 191 853 653 B. In good useable condition, broken lower clip but no cracks in grill plastic.
  • Golf Jetta 90 Spec 3 Dr Green Tinted Glass Set. In very good condition comes with rear window seals. Would prefer collection due to size from HG4 or LS17.
  • Mk2 Front Engine Bracket # 191199273. In good condition, powdercoated black.
  • RHD Dash Air Vent Ducting # 192 819 363 A, in good condition.
  • Rear Parcel Shelf Supports PAIR # 191867763A / 191867764A. In good condition, complete with speakers.

  • Black TYP19 Flag Door Mirrors, without adjusters. In good condition, glass needs some imperfections polishing out.

  • Jetta Mk2 RHD OEM Hella Front Headlights Pair. In good usable condition, some surface rust on one of the bezel's and a small internal chip on N/S headlight.

  • Mk2 Mk3 Golf Jetta 1.8T 02J Cable Change Conversion Shifter. Removed from Mk2 Golf 1.8T as I'm switching to a 6 speed 02M
