Hi folks. I have the Grundig Gamma 2 radio cassette from a 1990 (H Plate) MkII Golf G60. It's now so old I've been unable to find any information about the connectors or adaptors I need to be able to give it power and test it.
I have the original door pockets, speakers and the radio from the car and I'm looking to test and sell... last time I put it on eBay the only questions were "Is it unlocked?"
If anyone can let me know how I can give it power and see if it works and if it's unlocked I'd be very grateful. It's serial code thing is: 357 035 186B.
Morning folks. My names Jon. I've registered in the hope I can get some advice. Sadly it's been some years since I was lucky enough to be hooning around in heavily modified G60. I joined because I have the original gamma 2 radio cassette, speakers and door pocket/speaker enclosures from the car. 1990 or maybe 91... It started H146 (I think). I can't find any information about what connectors I need to test the radio is working and unlocked with a view to sell to someone looking to put one back to original condition. ...I'll ask the question in the relevant part... and no doubt do some sobs looking at all your amazing examples of the best car I've ever owned.
