On with breaking my engine bay down today on my 16v, on the fuel lines is a fuel saver device, is this a standard feature or has this been put on?
I’m no engine guy so I apologise it just doesn’t look pretty

I’ve stripped the car to shell ready for the body shop , just seeing if there’s any tips when it’s comes to re feeding the wiring through to the tailgate- really not looking forward to that part 🤣

Hi anyone no where I can get drivers seat tilt cables to repair faulty seat? 1990 - I had them on back order from Heritage for months but now told supplier not able to fill the order?

looking for any advice on removing the lock from tailgate with central locking. stripped everything out but unsure on how to specifically seperate the lock from the central locking bar. Trying to strip it out entirely reafy for paint.

Just wanted to introduce myself seeing as I'm now going to spending most of my life here 
I have just bought my first restoration project for myself and my teenage son, its a 1990 Mk2 16v GTI, atlas grey. I used to have one many years ago but in black and loved it. General advice really on sourcing parts if there's nowhere you'd recommending particular?
My interior is the rainbow trim- all good apart from drivers seat- would you think a trimmer could match this or is it sourcing another?

Ill stop at that- its early days
