Just replaced my sunroof seal on my MK2 and just wanted to check all is correct as its rather tight on closing the sunroof. So where I close it -it almost pushes the top roof skin up, when I try to open it I have to give it a helping touch as it's that snug. Just wanted to know if this is ok with the seal being fresh or if it's deffo not? Thanks guys.

Hi, would anyone have any idea where I could source the 2 pulleys attached to the water pump as mine are battered? Its a 1990 with power steering. I cannot seem to source them online anywhere and wasn't sure if there was another variant available to use off another model? Thankyou
Does anyone know of anybody that makes new/replacement looms for the 16v? Mine is complete but general wiring from the engine bay is a little toasted lol.
Just checking if anyone has found a good alternative for soundproofing around dash/headlining/floors etc. All factory stuff will be no good as shell is being dipped .
Just wondered what people use to replace all the original insulation upon restoring-eg. Under roof lining etc. Also what can I replace the foam seal around the door closing /light stitch detector with?
Looking for some guidance on my 16v restoration, anyone recommend a replacement radiator and brake set up? Completely replacing what’s there atm. Not sure if I should refurbish existing callipers or replace with alternative.
Just seeing if anyone would have some guidance on replacing bushes all round the car? I thought whilst its being stripped to shell I may swell go right through it When looking for a full kit all I seem to get is the power flex poly ones coming up, would this be a good option or is there a more original one that's recommended? Read a few people in the past finding the poly bush hard but I've never used them myself.
On with breaking my engine bay down today on my 16v, on the fuel lines is a fuel saver device, is this a standard feature or has this been put on? I’m no engine guy so I apologise it just doesn’t look pretty
I’ve stripped the car to shell ready for the body shop , just seeing if there’s any tips when it’s comes to re feeding the wiring through to the tailgate- really not looking forward to that part 🤣
Hi anyone no where I can get drivers seat tilt cables to repair faulty seat? 1990 - I had them on back order from Heritage for months but now told supplier not able to fill the order? Cheers
