Clutch not fitting over crankshaft end?!? August 10, 2021, 09:48:11 PM I have managed to get the pressure plate off which was a struggle. It was on so tight!Offered up the new clutch and its as though the clutch centre hole is too small for the crankshaft end. Is this normal? I thought it should just slot straight over with no issues and then bolt up.Has anyone else experienced this?I don't want to force the new one on.Cheers,Charlie
Re: Clutch not fitting over crankshaft end?!? Reply #1 – August 10, 2021, 10:29:32 PM I was sold a 16v gearbox by mistake once. Box wouldn’t marry to the clutch as the input shaft it larger. Have you got a 16v and 8v clutch kit?
