Query re Exhaust alignment

Ever since I changed the Jetex back two sections of exhaust for something with an OEM look but stainless the twin pipes have looked slightly out of level. So today I thought I'd straighten them up. The job is done however I did make sure the middle box was level too, is that correct or should it be at a slight angle?
The reason I ask is that I've given it the pre-drive wriggle and it looks like it might knock the "tunnel" heatsheld when going over rough ground.
I'll take it for a test drive and adjust regardless...so long as I can get the tail pipes looking straight!

Got my answer...
Went for a drive down the road and the vibration of the exhaust on the heat shields sounded and felt awful. Re-adjusted but the tail pipe still have an annoying slant.  >:(
