June 01, 2022, 12:12:58 PM Holy crap, it just popped up on my timeline that's it's 9 years ago today I bought my 2nd Mk2 Golf Gti, and that was some 14/15 years after my first one back in the late 90s.And that's where the journey restarted for me and I've been on here ever since.Here's a pic from the original ad, I paid £400 in 2013Only 4 owners, needing a lot of work but completely un-touched which means un-bodged. A perfect base for a Resto, shame I got taken for a ride with some of the people I let work on it. Valuable lessons learned.Anyway, some four years (or thereabouts) and thousands of pounds later and here's one of the pics from the advert I put together when I sold it on. I know it's been on quite a journey since it left me, and many more thousands spent on it, but I'm hoping to be reunited on Friday at the Bristol meet as the current owner has said he'll be there.
