5th Gear Upgrade

Evening all,

I'm looking to have the 5th gear upgrade done on my car and was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for a garage/transmission specialist in West Yorkshire that I could use, preferably Leeds/Bradford area.

Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Assume this is for yor 16v?

I had mine changed at the same time as the clutch and it was more expensive than I expected, circa £1k and they were a gearbox specialist.

The high 5th gear is great on the motorway and the car can still accelerate up a long dual carriageway incline but there is a very noticable gap between 4th and 5th on b roads. You may wish to check other gearboxes that give a better spread of gears. I'd do that if I was to do it again.
