Hello from Chelmsford

Hi,

Just picked up (back of a trailer) a 1992 Golf Driver, one of the last Mk2s.

Paintwork is dreadful, doesn't start but its solid enough. The chap I bought it from said he paid some mechanics to get it going but they came along to plug in diagnostic and got lost with it, ended up taking out relays etc which is my first task, to get them all back in the right place then figure whats what. (forum post coming up !)

The plan is to pass it onto my son, he's always loved classics, especially golfs so this one will be cherished and used.
