NLA
You may sometimes see the acronym NLA when referring to a part. Just to help anyone out that hasn't come across this term it means No Longer Available.
So VW parts stores are deleted, the last one has been sold, and the only option now is 2nd hand or pattern part.
Hopefully as mk2s gain in popularity and classic status some hard to find parts will start to be manufactured again. This is already happening and VW heritage are leading the way with new product being launched all the time.
