That's odd Pierburg carbs are usually auto choke.
Though that might have just been the two Drivers I had.
... Most people remove the arch liners ....
It's when people roll the arches, the retaining clips etc are either removed or the is no lip for the liner to sit on
Do they? is this a lowering thing? Mine is pretty low but arch liners are present
there is one on Ebay but for £95 i still want to Install the electrical sunroof but thats a big Price even if the part is pretty common actually.
i have the electrical motor with the switch from an Audi 80 but fancy the one from the polo
Thanks for the help, i can see moulded clips along the bottom edge of the cover and two sided clip opposite holes alongthe centre line of the bumper beam. I might take the beam off and fit the beam to the cover, with the cover on the floor
Manage it in the end, think latch had seized bit of wd40 then pop, bonnet open.
On inspection - oil level still fine. Noticed a leak on the block.
The vac line for the MFA is impossible to refit, we for me it was with club hands, if you had child hands it may be doableIt's not the easiest to fit thats for sure. Speedo cable is the tricky one for my bear paws
To get access spring the bonnet catch with a screwdriver through the VW badge on the grill.Takes all of 2 seconds with this method to pop bonnet
