radio switch

somewhere, maybe here, i have seen a switch -> with a music note emblem <-
technically a rear window heater switch (source: febi bilstein website):

such could probably used for making the radio
not shine on me and stuff, when it is off.

does somebody know the source ?

probably something like digifiz,
but they to rather make panels.

mk2 parts wanted would probably be a better category.
may some admin move it there, if i can not do it as user ?

If you were clever with electronics it might be possible to convert the left / right (front/rear?) wheeled rheostat switch to dim the radio illumination - bonus of being able to adjust brightness as opposed to simple on or off plus having a (sort of) relevant emblem on it?

Part# 191035543

Can attract high asking prices here, but maybe a lot more readily available / cheaper where you are.

I think there was also an on/off 'Funk' button with 'antenna' emblem in MK2 German Police cars to control their 2 way radios but I'm sure that's hard to get.

If I understand your question you don't want the radio display to light up when the radio itself is off.

So:
Does your radio display light up all of the time, even when the ignition is off? <--- this would be bad and needs to be fixed.
Does your radio display light up when the ignition is on, but the radio is off?
Does your radio display light up when the lights are on, but the radio is off?
What radio do you have?

Either way, it sounds to me like it is wired up wrong. And just re-wiring it correctly might be the simplest solution rather than adding more clutter to the wiring.

@Eddypeck, this one:
Does your radio display light up when the ignition is on, but the radio is off?
plus it brags about its features.
but in the manual i read about it going off, when i hold the off button for a few secs.

off course one would be quicker with clutter, but i see your point.

@L90E, thank you for the hints. the antenna-button would be the closest,
but i really saw one with a music note with a few lines going out of it. never mind.
