Hand brake tell tell light issues April 06, 2022, 01:24:14 PM An issue has started where when the handbrake is off, the light flickers while driving.It could be just a loose connection at the switch but my worse fear is the hand brake at the callipers is not being fully released, making the cable go slack and preventing the lever to be fully clear of the switch. Before I start pulling carpets or stripping down the rear brakes just thought I’d ask is anyone else has experienced similar?
Re: Hand brake tell tell light issues Reply #1 – April 06, 2022, 02:06:13 PM Go check your brake fluid level, that light will come on for low level too.The switch is on the bottom of the handle, even with no cables, it'll still turn the light off.

Tempted to delete this thread to avoid embarrassment, but then again the point of leaving it is someone else might learn from it.
