Mk2 golf door ard difference - help needed asap

Hi all,

Needs some advice really quickly please.

My drivers side front and drivers passager side rear door cards are rotten at the bottoms.

I need to replace them asap, mines a 5dr GL 1986 with quarter glass front door type, are there any differences between them and the larger front 1 piece glass modals?.

Hello,

Yes they are different.
Depending on how rotten they are, they can be repaired by drying them thoroughly and repairing with fibreglass.
Once sturdy again, you can look to clean and re-glue the material.
